The Dragon Book edited by Jack Dann. I was excited to find the book. It was a collection of short stories surrounding dragons. I read the first 3 short stories. And then I was finished. I kept looking at the promising cover and sighing as the stories did not live up to the cover. I couldn;t bring myself to try more stories in the book.
Mr. Darcy Takes a Wife by Linda Berdoll. I was quite excited to find this book for only a dollar at the used book store. I mean what could be more fun than a sequel to Pride and Prejudice. However, the book was nothing like the original. The word Takes in the title seems to be the key concept. Everyother page seemed to be another sex scene. Now I realize they were newlyweds, but I don;t want to read graphic descriptions of anyone's sexual encounters. I tolerate a few in a book. This book by page 90 had lost me under the pile of smut.
