Dewey's Read-a-Thon April 10, 2010

I've gathered my stack of books. Some to try and finish, some to check out, and some I know are sure wins. I am ready for April 10th Read-a-thon.

Some Books on My Pile:
 Beautiful Creatures
 Alanna: The 1st Adventure
Jane Austen: Christian Encounters
The faerie Path
Voices of Dragons
Northanger Abbey
Sarah
The Secret History of the Pink Carnation
Lamb Bright Savoirs
The Selfish Gene
People of the Book
Sea Glass
Magic Tree House Research Guide: Rainforests
The Incredible Journey
Audio: Dragonwings
Audio: The Chosen One

I believe I will have enough variety to keep interested. Also in the plans. Crockpot Chili starting on Friday, leftover Easter candy, a variety of beverages, and a clean house to prevent distractions.

  1. This sure sounds like fun, but there's no way my kids would let me read all day. Maybe some day I'll be able to join in on these readathons.

  3. Your list looks great and the chili in the crockpot is a great idea. I am going for the cook-like-crazy-today-and-have-leftovers-tomorrow approach! Good luck!

  4. Long list! I really enjoyed Northanger Abbey, but I can't imagine reading it during a readathon. Hope you enjoy the day.
